Vky's: Winter Day 4 in South Korea (2015)

Finally am free to continue updating my Korea trip.

Just can't wait to show you all more...

Anyways,

We had a great 3 days 2 nights stay in Tomo Residence. (checking out)

They are so kind that they let us leave our two huge luggages at their place for another 3 days until we're back from Jeju Island.

They also help us called for taxi the day before today for sending us to the airport.

and so, today is the day we fly over to Jeju Island

via Gimpo Domestic Airport

*heads up* (it's not Gimpo International Airport yea) if you wanted to go to Jeju Island.

I know this cause the taxi driver drop us off at Gimpo International Airport.

Luckily we reached very early so we manage to hop on a shuttle bus to the domestic ones.

It's actually just nearby. So took us approximately about 10 minutes for waiting the bus and reaching the airport.

Another option besides taking shuttle bus is the subway. (you may ask the information counter for further details about where to get the subway and how)

Our ticket to Jeju Island costs us approximately RM1,301 for four person.

Reached Jeju International Airport.

Thought it would be cooler than Seoul but who knows it's much more bearable.

First destination was to our accommodation.

We took taxi since the bus fare (RM4 each) and taxi fare (RM19 a trip) was approximately the same in Jeju Island so yeah, of course choose the comfortable and more convenient ones. Hehe

Checked in to the hotel. (Yupps it's hotel this time)

It's cheaper to stay in hotel in an Island rather than the big city.

and mom said we could find one which is really nice for our few days stay in South Korea.

at least we get to experience all types of accommodations.

Reached room straight lie down. So nice la the room.

Way way above our expectation though we already checked online.

So here's the hotel details..

Hotel W Shinjeju @ 273-36 Yeon-Dong 690-814 Jeju City South Korea

It costs us about RM795 for 3 days 2 nights stay.

It's so cheap right especially after you've seen how exquisite the room was

Overall hotel environment, I dislike their lobby the most.

Not grand enough to have that attractiveness.

Luckily their room was superb. (and that's all that matters right when you're staying in)

First door is of course to protect from outsiders
the small area is for us to put our shoes I suppose (saw our mini luggage still standing right there?)
then there's another second door...
By the way, the television is huge too
so can lie down on the bed and watch.

Their toilet bowl also high-tech

Got the 'wash/blow your backside' features. Hahahaha

especially when it's cold weather and the water is cold.

When I was washing, I keep laugh like a crazy girl

As for this bath tub leh, ended up we never use this at all

we used the one beside the basin. Scroll back and see the pipe attached?

It's also for bathing one

Daddy say a little scary coz it's so far to the end.

make us kinda scare already. Scaredy-cat!

They provide us with such good services too

A large fridge, water heater, coffee and tea (this is quite usual) but they also provide a desktop

so convenient for tourist to search Google for anything

wait till you know that each room has their own Wi-Fi. OWN WI-FI omg

so no need to worry people will snatch your line and make it slow

and certain places when they provide you a desktop, there's many restrictions.

This one no restrictions at all. Super smooth somemore.

Consequences : Sister watch movie till late night. Win all!

Hey daddy!

We don't actually plan much for Jeju Island cause we plan to go for their local tour.
So our first destination was to go for the Jeju City Tour Buses which was approximately RM16 each
while waiting for the bus, hungry already.
Mum say want bring us eat the famous BLACK PIG
So we bought maggie cup to hold back our stomach from growling first
at the Jeju Intercity Bus Terminal

that Maggie Cup was so delicious at that time

cause everyone was hungry already

There's a little interference with the bus tour we're taking.

It's too long if I would have to explain it in detail here.

Anyway, you all are more keen and attracted to my pictures right? hehe

So be it, let the pictures do the talking now.

Conclusion, the bus tour was not as good as we expected because the trip they brought us doesn't really attract our attention. Ended up, everyone fell asleep along the ride except mum

Sister had her usual motion sickness during the ride.

It's actually nice but if the whole few hours ride is all looking at this, then you'll know why everyone fell asleep. hahaha

After the few hours bus ride, we make sure we wouldn't just waste our day in Jeju Island without exploring enough.

Thus, we walk around with our own foot and not regretting it at all.

The weather as I said, it was bearable than Seoul so it was a good long walk while exploring like a bag pack tourist on the streets.

She's our tour guide so there's of course lots of things to take too.

Not easy to be one good tour guide yea?

when I'm moving my hands, call sis faster run to me to hold camera so I'll be able to run to the side to post for the pict.

Ended up success in first trial. NOT BAD!

after walk quite a long distance around then we get a cab and back to our hotel

Luckily the street was just next to our hotel which had many things to eat

So we just dine in nearby

but their faces still quite blur

Sister keep want to go Teddy Bear Museum but today was not able to go.

So mum said let's snap sis with Teddy Bear at least she get to snap with it. hahah

We thought we wouldn't be able to visit the Teddy Bear Museum already

but we're not unhappy cause we're satisfy with every places we went to

and we make sure that we did not waste any of our time at all

So time well spent.

Therefore, the next day we get to visit it too (wait for the next post)

Why did dad want to take pict with a broken bike? want retro izzit? hahaha

Enter into this stall but ...

ended up walk out again

cause some of the shops do not allow us to share portions at all

Each one have to order ONE and their ONE is so huge la please (can provide for 2 person already)

How do FOUR of us eat FOUR portions.

We know we're small eater so we do not want to waste food.

So we enter into this shop

which I feel the environment was much more cozy and nice

and their service was better actually

the previous shop owner was quite ego, maybe cause they have more customers

The whole portion we ordered.

The shop allow us to ordered only two portions of the pork

It's quite much already cause we intend to order the stone rice too

But the previous shop expect us to order four portions of meat.

Other side dishes like the stone rice doesn't count as ONE portion.

BOOO sama them... =P

We came here twice for the 3 days 2 nights here. Heheh

why their cake over here so nice one??

Honestly, I ate cakes in Starbucks a few times already, not even once I feel it's nice. Can't even comment a "Not Bad" for Penang Starbucks Cakes also.

If you don't agree with me, please recommend me any good cakes in Penang Starbucks?

but the price if fair lo.

As the cake is double in size so as the price too.
