Vky's: 1st Twinsie Trip to Singapore

Not my first time to Singapore but it's the first oversea trip that I go with only my sister and my sister only.

This trip's purpose is for sister work related matters.

We have few main important matters to do that are :

1) Body check-up for sister's employment in Singapore.

2) Find a suitable, comfortable, convenient yet appropriate room to rent.

3) Have a look at sister's work place.

FYI, sister just graduated (Early childhood education) and she is a qualified kindergarten teacher. To cut the story short, she has just been employed by an international school which her workplace will be based in Singapore. As far as I know, this int school opened about 17 branches in only Singapore itself.

I don't know whether my sis is either very fortunate or otherwise, she's been located to work at a new branch which they're opening in Sentosa Island.

(The good part is it's a high society area so obviously the working environment would be great while the not-so-good part is it would be further from where she's staying which is the main land)

Okay not gonna blabber too much about the further details. If you really wanna know more? ask ME or HER also boleh.

What I can tell you is the name of the int school is called

"Eton House International Pre-School"

You'll be definitely be in the 'wow-ed' state when you see the school building cause I had that look when I reached the main entrance. (Don't forget I'm referring to a kindergarten or pre-school as they called)

Look below and get ready your WOW look. Heh

Not sure you can see clearly how huge is this building but I think 'building' is a little under-rated.

It's obviously a mansion la duhhh

If this is a college then I can accept how huge is this place ler but this is so called a place just for KIDS. You couldn't actually see from here how long is this mansion from the picture. You know it's very HUGE can liao la.. hahah (It used to be a hotel just fyi, so you can guess how huge it is inside)

Let you guess approximately how much for a kid (3-years and above) to go to this pre-school?

It's approximately SGD 2,000 ++ for only the registration fees

PLUS

SGD 7,000++ for 3 months schooling

(Crazy much la this one)

Our purpose to Singapore just as I mentioned earlier is for sister's work related but
my purpose for blogging this entry is about capturing-the-journey-along-the-trip
so yeah, here it is

The hotel we stayed in for 3 days and 2 nights

Day 1 just look around for room rental

Nothing much

Below is one of the few house we went to.

This one not acceptable cause First, no fan. Second, the whole house looks dark. Third, no cooking allow, only can cook maggie mee. Forth, house mate is one Australian man and an old Indian lady.

So, REJECT!

We actually found her a room which fits what she wanted.

'Suitable, Comfortable, Convenient yet Appropriate room'

Suitable - There's everything that she's wanted (Fan, Aircond, Wi-Fi and Utilities bill provided within her budget set)

Comfortable - Staying with a Chinese aunty which is superb nice and friendly (She even says she'll cook for her portion when she cooks) Her room even has her own TV and sofa, you say how comfortable leh? There are even space left if you wanna exercise, dance or etc.

Convenient - The distance and area of the apartment is not far from the pick-up point for her work

Appropriate - Only two ladies will be staying in the house (Chinese aunty and herself) No security issues
